Ideal for intricate design solutions,our mini aluminium channel is suitable for housing tapes of 8mm width and below. The Flat aluminium channels can be recessed furniture pieces for a flush finish. These channels can help to create sleek and completely bespoke LED strip lighting installations and each is available with either an opal, semi-clear or clear diffuser which helps diffuse the light from each LED in a much more uniform pattern and also prevents any glare or secondary refraction from occurring.

Please note: This aluminium channel is not compatible with solderless connectors, not suitable for IP65 tape and does not come with a diffuser as standard, this will need to be purchased seperately.

Only to be used with LED tape which is less than 10w per metre

Diffusers will affect the brightness of LED tapes when installed, as a general guide, please see the information below on how much the brightness is affected by each type of diffuser.

Transparent: 5-10% of the brightness will be taken away

Semi-Clear: 25-30% of the brightness will be taken away

Opal: 50-55% of the brightness will be taken away

Black: 65-70% of the brightness will be taken away

The use of diffusers will also alter the Kelvin Temperature of the LED Tape by approximately 10%. Opal diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear warmer, Semi clear diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear cooler.
